ELK's first participation in the competition for the "most family-friendly company in Krefeld" was honored with a 3rd place. A total of 23 companies threw their hats in the ring. In addition to the award, there was prize money of 1,000 euro for ELK GmbH.

The award was ceremoniously presented at the BUSINESS BREAKFAST in the "Stahlhaus" event location by Mrs. Kerstin Abraham, board member and labor director of SWK AG Krefeld, with great pleasure, to Mehmet Parmak, responsible for marketing and communication at ELK GmbH.

The competition, which was launched in 2015 by the “Krefeld Business and Family Network”, is held every two years. The "Krefeld Business and Family Network" includes: the city of Krefeld, the WFG Wirtschaftsförderungsgesellschaft Krefeld mbH as part of KREFELD BUSINESS, the SWK STADTWERKE KREFELD AG, the Sparkasse Krefeld, the Niederrhein Entrepreneurship e.V., the Employment Agency and the Krefeld Job Center.

As the ELK, we have decided to donate the prize money to a good cause.
